There appears to be some confusion around what we're about so just to clarify...
Yes we do run speed dating events but we are an events management company specialising in networking events and DO NOT solely deal in nights for single ppl.
Speed dating is a great way to meet people period. Obviously if you are single, it will help but we pride ourselves in creating an environment which aids befriending people of similar ages, backgrounds and interests, not just for single ppl meeting other single ppl.
For those that are not keen on the one to one format of speed dating, the other event we run is THE 20FD LOCK & KEY PARTY. This is NOT a dating event at all but instead similar to a normal night out. The difference is the introduction of the icebreaker often needed when speaking to someone new.
The icebreaker comes in the form of a lock (for girls) and a key (for guys) with the use of these helping initiate conversation. The great thing is a match isn't necessary to speak someone as the ice is already broken. For those that do match, the pairs names are entered into a raffle for top prizes at the end of the evening. Attendees should expect a party atmosphere but with an entirely positive vibe and DJs selecting music with a smooth old skool flavour.
